the waning crescent moon that was there
has disappeared behind the clouds, floating, until it goes 'peekaboo'
to make way for the sun's turn to do its dance...

disappointed that i didn't get to take a picture.

preparing for NYE emerald run...

i ran 1 mile today...in the rain.

with some left leg cramping and damp-feeling socks from sneakers that couldn't help but sop up water from pools scattered around the track.

tues evening, G and I join others in bringing in the new year with a costume party, live music, dancing and fireworks before running 4 mile course around Central Park.  it's gonna be a great time!
