"you've been excused by the judge"

i felt like doing a curtsy...

so i got to experience being part of a jury of a murder trial, jury selection, opening statements, evidence, witnesses, direct examination, cross examination, re-direct, closing statements, and judge's instructions...

but got to be excused before deliberations - for being sick.

happily so, as i wouldn't have wanted to have been a part in judging 2 people's lives with the little amount of evidence they produced during trial.
